Continued from extensive handwritten notes, this section on largely Micro$hit malfunctions, or Micro$hits as we fondly call them, and a very few others, does not represent all the instances of these type malfunctions that we daily encounter, far from it. There is no way humanly possible to keep up with the Micro$hits and complete our work. The truth of the matter is, Micro$hit makes staggeringly lousy software. Not all these design flaws are Micro$hit’s, but 99.999999% of them are.

Why doesn’t the $1,000,000,000,000.00 Micro$hit corporation “Set up a lab to test stuff in-house, instead of making customers find all the coding screw-ups and security holes”.

Seven days ago, we attempted to backup sensitive files on disk in case of a Carrington Event or similar EMP. Micro$hit has prevented this. We performed Systems Recovery twice. We performed frequent tests and fixes on drives. We restarted numerous times. We made but one backup at the beginning. Then it would burn a disk halfway and stop. It frequently indicated that no disk was in the drive or that the disk in the drive was read-only, the wrong disk, or not enough room, or the drive was in use by a phantom. C. two weeks ago, we tried burning old-time radio shows to disks but Micro$hit forbade that as well.

Mighty Micro$hit destroyed ten (10) Maxell 4.7 GB DVD RW disks from a 15PK, major cost: $12.50. Here are some of the dialog boxes Micro$hit exposed us to. Doubles were separated in time after attempting making adjustments. 2018-11-02 - 2

1350. Since early this morning Micro$hit will not download files correctly but in unwanted formats or formats that cannot be opened. These are those that can neither be opened or deleted.

2018-11-06, 1444. We performed a Systems Recovery four days ago in the progress of attempting to burn backup disks. Since then, we have had this problem. The image on the right is the one we should see. We preformed a second Systems Recovery on 2018-11-08 and the problem thus far seems corrected. (It worked until 2018-11-10)

0733. Many Mighty Micro$hits have gone unreported during this waste of life and resources; still no backups.

0859. Cutting and pasting several screenshots, they disappeared.

2018-11-10.

1119. Firefox crashed.

1657. After closing a streaming a video it is not unusual for it to keep streaming audio. We stil have the problem of juddering when resuming streaming a video after the video has been asleep. We must close and reopen the file.

2018-11-11, 1713. A folder is missing from a file.

2018-11-15, 1252. All desktop icons leapt to the right of the screen.

2018-11-16, 0707. When backing up a file on memory card, Micro$hit repeatedly showed the DVD drive icon and indicated there was no disk in the drive.

2018-11-18, o704. Again, a folder has disappeared, also two images. The folder, “Photo Processing” has disappeared several times before.

0811. Restarted the computer twice but it was no help. Now shortcuts have disappeared from the desktop.

0829. Restarted a third time.

0844. File still lost. Scrolling through photos some images became full screen, then some lagged, then photos from other files began appearing.

0910. Restarted the computer a fourth time but the folder and images are still missing.

2018-11-20, 0752. Since the 4^th two files cannot be deleted. The Item Not Found dialog box (DB) appears. We went to YouTube {https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab7WTFFnYl0} and learned how to delete them using command prompt. Guess what command prompt told us? “The system cannot find the file specified”. We have two command prompts, Command Prompt and Command Prompt (Admin). We tried both.

We still cannot make backups on DVDs.

The missing folder and images are still missing.

The 2018-11-06 still exists.

1543. Twice CyberLink began playback of a DVD but then shutoff. We played the DVD a selection at a time.

1638. Recycle Bin does not show the files therein.

Then, bizarrely, we copied and attempted to save text, but the screenshot of this DB pasted twice. We did not copy the screenshot as such but only saved it.

1117. Stupid fucking Micro$hit keeps placing a New Document tab on the taskbar.

2018-12-19, 1039. We selected a word to change font color. Font color would not change, nor could we remove the selection because the section area changed positions several times when trying to remove it, and when tapping “delete” to be rid of it.

2018-12-23, 1439. Might Micro$hit crashed, Firefuck $hit crashed and Micro$hit’s Internet Explorer crashed. Forced to restart this took seven minutes.

Opening Google, a line of ells automatically appeared across the input field, two icons on the desktop began rapidly flashing, and then, starting a video already up, Firefox malfunctioned playing it back with rapid stuttering of both image and audio.

We restarted the computer about a dozen times and, since we were correcting 12 webpages, we made scores (at least sixty) copies and still, after wasting three days on this, we are not finished the last one. One of the biggest problems is than Mighty Micro$hit will not leave text or images where we place them.
